Driving around the Thumb

After Sean's Graduation, (this is the graduation)  I decided to take a journey along the Saginaw Bay,
and then the Lake Huron Shoreline.  I wanted to see places like Port Austin (The  Tip 'O the Thumb) and
Port Hope, and Forestville and yes, even Bad Axe. And I wanted to see Palms again, where the Cains
 originally settled in Michigan.  So, after I left Jeannie's in AuSable and Tawas, that's just what I did.  

Here are some of the pictures I took, starting in Oscoda at 7 a.m.

It was about 7am.  I stopped in a park in Oscoda to look at the water.  There's an ore boat on the horizon on the left.

I took a couple of pictures in Oscoda, before I left to meet Jeannie in Tawas.

After Jeannie and I had breakfast and walked around Tawas for awhile, I left to drive to Bay City and then around the shore line around the thumb.  I started by driving out Tawas Point.  That's where I found this kitty sitting watching the sunrise.

I took a few boring photos, but when I got to Forestville, I liked this little beach
